Descent in canoes
The descent of the River Cares-Deva in a two seater canoe which allows the ability of enjoying a trip with breathtaking beauty, a conserved setting, as it was more than 200 years ago, when it was the main method of transportation.
The small rapids allow the navigator to use the backwater to enjoy the marvelous surroundings. We can experience the strange sensation of having the point of view from the water’s surface. Without the need to have previous knowledge one can enjoy a new adventure in a canoe lead by you and your guide. You only need to follow some simple instructions given by the monitors in order to use the canoe perfectly.
Each participant will have equipped with attire consisting of a wetsuit (until the 30th of June) and a life vest. The descent will be undertaken in canoes that are very safe and stable, for two passengers and with the use of paddles composed of two leaves for impulsion. The group will be guided by a supervising monitor and an assistant monitor for every 10/12 participants, who will always be in contact with a third monitor on land.
Required clothing: Bathing suit or shorts, trainers or boat shoes and a towel.
