The Picos de Europa, modest in size but rich in summits and peaks, boast fourteen peaks above 2,600 meters, forty over 2,500 meters, and nearly two hundred and fifty exceeding 2,000 meters in altitude. Due to its verticality and multitude of peaks, it offers numerous inhospitable places of extraordinary beauty, making it an incomparable location in Spain.
